Goldsmithing in Vienna: old, authentic and still alive
Spotlight
Diamond jewellery Vienna – Nothing shines like a diamond
A quick note on terminology: a diamond is the gemstone. In German, “Brillant” describes a round brilliant-cut diamond with 57 or 58 facets. Every Brillant is a diamond, but not every diamond has a brilliant cut. At RINGKING, we choose each stone personally — considering cut, colour, clarity and carat, but above all how it comes alive in the light and suits its wearer.
The cut gives a diamond its voice:

Round brilliant
Maximum sparkle, timeless appeal, flattering on almost any hand.

Oval
Elegant and elongating, often appearing larger than its carat weight suggests.

Princess
Modern, geometric and square. Often a more affordable choice.

Cushion
Soft, romantic and full of vintage charm.

Emerald
Understated, elegant and architectural. Highlights clarity.

Pear
Feminine and flowing, ideal for rings and pendants.

Marquise
Dramatic, with a shape that visually lengthens the finger.

Asscher
Art Deco character with bold, geometric lines.

Heart
Deeply personal and wonderfully romantic.

Baguette
Minimalist and linear. Ideal as a side stone.
No certificate can tell you which cut is right for you.
Your instinct can.
At RINGKING, we choose a cut for the stone, the hand and the person — not for the latest trend.
